Terms of Use

1. General

1.1. These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern use of the Click VPN online service provided by the operator through https://click-vpn.com/ and the Click VPN mobile app (the “Service”).

1.2. By using the Service, including installing the app, creating an account, paying for services, or obtaining access, the User confirms that they have read these Terms and accept them in full.

1.3. If the User disagrees, they must stop using the Service.

2. Nature of the services

2.1. The Service provides intangible digital goods and services: an encrypted VPN tunnel from the User’s device to the operator’s server through the Click VPN mobile app, and related support. The operator does not read the contents of sessions.

2.2. Current prices and plan details are published on the plans page and in the website account cabinet.

2.3. The User agrees that the value of the Service is access, support, and app updates.

2.4. The Service does not guarantee fixed connection parameters.

3. Disclaimer

3.1. The Service is provided “as is”.

3.2. The operator does not warrant:

that the Service will meet the User’s expectations;
any financial, commercial, professional, or other results.

3.3. The operator is not liable for:

any direct or indirect loss, including lost profits;
acts or omissions of third parties;
temporary technical faults and access limits.

3.4. All decisions to use the Service are made by the User at their own risk.

4. Lawful use

4.1. The Service is not intended to encourage, organise, or assist unlawful activity.

4.2. The User must use the Service only in accordance with applicable law and third-party rules.

4.3. The User is solely responsible for the lawfulness of their use.

5. Intellectual property

5.1. Materials in the Service are protected by intellectual-property law.

5.2. The User may not copy, distribute, resell, transfer, or otherwise use Service materials without the rights holder’s permission.

5.3. Infringement may result in access being limited without compensation.

6. Access limits

6.1. The operator may suspend or limit access if:

these Terms are breached;
abuse is detected;
required by law or payment providers.

6.2. Limiting access does not release the User from earlier obligations.

6.3. The operator may refuse service to Users whose actions create elevated risk for the Service, payment providers, or third parties.

7. Payments and refunds

7.1. Payment is made on the terms stated in the Service before payment (see plans).

7.2. Because the goods and services are intangible, refunds after access is granted are not made, except as below.

7.3. A refund is possible only if:

the service was not provided due to a technical fault of the Service;
access to the digital good was not actually granted.

7.4. Refund requests must be sent to click.vpn.support@proton.me within 24 hours of payment.

7.5. Refund decisions are made by the operator individually.

7.6. The User agrees not to start a chargeback through payment systems without first contacting Service support.

8. Privacy

8.1. The operator may collect the minimum technical data needed to operate the Service. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

8.2. The operator takes reasonable measures to protect data, but does not guarantee absolute security of information in transit.

9. Changes

9.1. The operator may change these Terms.

9.2. The current version is published at https://click-vpn.com/terms-en. The Russian text at /terms is the primary version.

9.3. Continued use of the Service means acceptance of the updated Terms.
